So maybe like a month ago, I applied for a job on base doing like... college counseling/career counseling (I think, the description was very short). The add said to send resume to yyyy @ gmail
The lady called me the Friday before Thanksgiving, and left a message. For some reason my phone never rang, and I had no listed missed calls, so her phone number did not register (f8ck f8ck f8ck). She told me they had selected me for an interview, and to please email her at xyy @ otherdomain (same name as first one, only first initial)
So I emailed her at the second email she gave as soon as I got the voicemail (Saturday before Thanksgiving). I gave her until the Monday after Thanksgiving (so four days ago), and forwarded it to the first email, stating I wasnt sure if I had the email, but wanted to make sure I was interested in taking the interview, blah blah professional blah.
She STILL hasnt contacted me! arrgg.
DH needed to go by the educational center (where I supposed she worked, but could find no confirmation on the internet) so he asked about her (descreety he says). So I guess she is a contractor, and new, and doenst have a phone there yet...
Ak! just be professional and call me back please! I cant really justify sending ANOTHER email without sounding like I am harrassing the lady.
Anyone else need to vent?
Re: W(hy)TF do people suck at calling back? A vent
Oh yeah.
I called every single day this week the vendor that I was hired through back in June. Left a message every day too. Finally, Wednesday I also e-mailed just restating what I said in my v-mail. Still no answers. Finally got through to someone today and reiterated my whole spiel and was promised that the message would be forwarded.
I hope so. I really don't want to have to go through Small Claims but I will because I'm tired of this BS.
