Where do you hang your stockings?
Our stockings came the other day, but I don't know where to hang them. If you don't have a fireplace, where do you hang yours?
Re: Where do you hang your stockings?
We hang ours on the mantle, but if I didn't have a mantle, I would probably make some sort of a board with hooks on it. I'd put it in my living area somewhere in place of framed decor that I normally have up so that I could just swap them back when Christmas was over.

If you made it yourself or had someone make it for you, they could space them out a little more if your stockings are larger. Just an idea. I'd like more of a big wooden piece with hooks painted in red and distressed a little bit. I am SO not crafy so I'd have to have someone do it for me.
Last year I just hung them on an empty wall in the living room, high enough that the dogs couldn't get to them. They love to play with soft furry "toys." The house we're living in now has hooks under the fireplace mantle where I could hang stockings, but I don't fully trust the dogs with them. I may go the wall route again.
Thanks for the ideas ladies, and for the etsy links BoyMom!
