Today/tonight - going to pick up a chair for the living room, cleaning, doing laundry, switching out coffee tables in the living room... maybe drinks when DH gets home
Tomorrow - pulling out Christmas decorations, maybe going to get our couch
Sunday - lunch, getting our couch if I don't get it on Saturday, decorating the outside, putting up the tree, etc.

Re: TGIF - Weekend plans?
tonight: pizza dinner with my folks, friday tradition!
tomorrow: i will be a cupcake baking fool (making pumpkin caramel cupcakes!), house cleaning
sunday: tomas turns 5!!! we are having a party (hence the need for so many cupcakes!)
tonight - maybe some live music. if not, definitely a few glasses of wine (bc I won't have to drive).
tomorrow - chiropractor in the AM, then some furniture moving with my son. and who am I kidding, work.
sunday - still not kidding myself, some work.
next week is my hell week -- board orientation followed by board meeting ending with black tie event at Lib of Congress on Friday night. I just have to make it to 12/10 without falling apart. Not sure....
the great news is that I hired the manager who will be working for/with me. I am SO EXCITED, even if the transition (it's an internal hire) can't happen until January 3 (we're closed on 1/2).
"What is a week-end?"
Tonight - stopping by a grad school event after work; going to see Cannibal the Musical (written by Trey Parker long before Book of Mormon) in Adams Morgan with DH and another couple; going out for drinks afterward
Saturday - errands, Christmas shopping, Christmas decorating, watching football
Sunday - going to the Jets vs Redskins game with my sister. I'm very glad my new Jets hoodie arrived in time! Then when I get home, I'll watch the Browns vs Ravens game with DH.
I've got a very quiet workday today, so I'm thinking about pulling out the tree and doing some Christmas decorating. Seeing as though my Thanksgiving stuff is still out, I should at least get that put away...
Tonight we are going on a date to some Indian restaurant that DH has been wanting to try...
Saturday - I'd like to go down to the Downtown Holiday Market in DC and see if I can find any fun, unique gifts for my aunts and my nieces... I was thinking of going in the later afternoon and then maybe doing the ZooLights and dinner somewhere after that.
Sunday - if DH is working, I'll do Christmas shopping - probably run to LOFT and Coach outlets over at Arundel Mills, take KJ for a hike somewhere. If he's not working, we'll probably end up watching football all day someplace and enjoying bad for us food and entirely too much beer. Or maybe a movie if the Patriots aren't playing... I'm dying to see where the new ICC, 400 feet from my front door, will take me.
Tonight - working on my final papers for 2 grad classes (ugh)
Tomorrow - going to the NCSS conference at the convention center, hopefully stopping off at the national craft festival while I'm there! Then, sorority alumni holiday party...
Sunday - Xmas decorations, more grad school work.
Busy weekend - can't believe it's December already!
St. John, USVI
Tonight- Making dinner, putting up Christmas decorations, figuring out how we're going to spend the weekends in Dec. (so much to do or that I'd like to do, and they're filling up fast).
Tom.- Meeting one of my best friends for lunch, maybe grocery shopping and finishing up Christmas decorations if I don't get done with them tonight.
Sunday- Church, lunch out, members meeting... I'm sad the Steelers will not be on here.
Planning Bio
Tonight - Going over to DH's friends' house for pizza. I'll come home early and put the kids to bed so he can stay later and hang out with his buddies.
Tomorrow - Playdate in the morning, nap time in the afternoon, and a date with DH in the evening!
Sunday - I hope to put up the tree with DD and go see Christmas lights in Gaithersburg in the evening. I'm also making this Hawaiin Crockpot Chicken for the first time so I hope it's good.
Tonight - pizza and prep for the craziness that this weekend will bring.
Tomorrow - Breakfast with Santa, Baby shower, a friend's birthday party and the inlaws arrive for a week.
Sunday - in-laws in town, I am not sure what they will be up for...
Tonight: Leaving work a little early to run errands. Cooking/baking tonight.
Tomorrow: Clean the house, shop at Trader Joe's. Then come home and cook for our Fake Thanksgiving. We're having people over tomorrow night and making a big potluck Thanksgiving dinner--we've been doing it with this group of friends for about 10 years and it's really fun.
Sunday: Cutting down our Christmas tree in the morning, then decorating in the afternoon and trying to figure out a way to keep DS from destroying it. Looking forward to putting on some Christmas music and putting up decorations! DS is really into the lights this year.

baby blog/cooking blog

Tonight - a good friend is in town for a conference, so I am joining her and her co-workers for dinner at Fogo de Chao. Not exactly vegetarian-friendly, but I am looking forward to the caipirinhas.
Tomorrow - lots of errands to run and HOA duties to complete. DH is in Ohio this weekend, so I will probably take advantage by ordering a pizza, drinking some wine, and going to sleep early while watching bad TV.
Sunday - no plans. Maybe I'll do a test batch of potential recipes for the cookie exchange.
Baby248 - ETA 1/10/13
We make this ALL THE TIME- it is delicious.
I will say, I was not expecting the BBQ sauce to be spicy at all, and it has a little kick. I'd taste test and see if your little ones will like it before you put it in the crock pot and add sugar or acid to cut the spice if needed.
We're doing errands and enjoying the now nearly set up apartment this weekend.
Stand up for something you believe in.
Tonight - I don't yet. Maybe go out since I've been working at home all day.
Tomorrow - Look for a dining room table. I'm getting kind of tired eating on my bed since I don't have any furniture except for my bed and a desk in my office.
Sunday - meet up with friends and watch some football
Today - dr. appt., errands, multiple errands as "date" tonight with O (including picking up a TV my SIL had delivered to our old address in Fairfax - where we moved from over 4.5 years ago. Thank God the people who bought from us are still there ... and honest! I bought them flowers.)
Saturday - helping throw another baby shower then going to a party at our neighbor's house
Sunday - working on business stuff and relaxing, probably breaking out the holiday decorations (outdoor lights and wreath are up already)
