Date Night Ideas

Any suggestions, ladies? We've become kind of lazy and fallen into the dinner and movie routine. I want to do something fun and creative. I'd love to take Casey to a beer or wine tasting but have no idea how to find one.

I am uber lame- remember this. One of our favorite dates is to go pottery painting. It's an activity (something to do) but it allows us to talk as well- without the like "just stare at each other and talk". It also gets quite entertaining (neither one of us is super artsy). We have also gone to play laser tag together- but always make some silly rule that makes us play as a team (ie: have to hold hands, have to link arms, etc) which again turns highly entertaining. Neither one of us is a beer drinker but I believe Nellos in Tempe hosts beer tastings. We also once went to a wine shop in Awahtukee that did wine tastings and had a really cool patio to relax on. Again- I am lame and DH and I enjoy the lame activities

We usually like places with live music, so we'll go to Toby Keith's for country or The Rhythm Room for blues. We also try to plan date nights around events that are going on- concerts, sporting events, street fairs/festivals, etc. Glow bowling and billards are also fun!

Depending on what side of town you live in San Tan Flats or Skunk Creek Flats are fun, they are more outdoors bar/restaurants with music, food and drinks. You can roast marshmallows and different things....Both are fun, especially now that it is cooler.

Our next date outing is Saturday and we are going to go do the scottsdale food walking tour. I hear its pretty good but this is our first time to go. And pp.....dh and i love the lame activities too! Where did you do the pottery? We have never done that and it sounds like fun!

I know this is lame, but Josh and I like to get Starbucks and just drive around. Most of the time we end up driving around looking at real estate, but we still have a great time and that is all that matters to us.

Our next date outing is Saturday and we are going to go do the scottsdale food walking tour. I hear its pretty good but this is our first time to go. And pp.....dh and i love the lame activities too! Where did you do the pottery? We have never done that and it sounds like fun!

We go to "As You Wish". They have multiple locations all over town. It's a TON of fun!

We've done this before to and loved it! Especially this time of year- you can go light viewing!

Have u & Casey ever been to a comedy show, to see a band, or to the DBG Luminarias?? This month you could do the luminarias. It's really pretty & you can make a night of it w/dinner & drinks too, if u want. We've also had fun just going to the Yardhouse & tasting some of the diff. beers & have apps or something. Also this time of yr you could do Glendale Glitters. I know that's pretty far for you, but it might be worth it.

Yes, comedy nights r a lot of fun! We used to go w/friends to one at home, but haven't been to one here yet. And for the YardHouse, I'm not a beer drinker either, but they do have some good fruity ones & stuff. You'll have to try some out. There's a raspberry one I like & Em got me into, but I can't think of the name of it.

dinner & a movie at the new amc biltmore dine in theaters or ipic scottsdale, apps and wine flights at brio, mini golf, bowling (we love lucky strike), batting cages, hiking and a picnic (we go up dreamy draw alot), more in the summer - resort pool hopping, couples massage, driving to see xmas lights - myfoxphoenix.com has a map of homes i think
