I have a dumb question about mailing a package to a service member
Is there a box requirement? Can we use any old box or does it need to be a special box from the post office or something? What about those one-size/one-price boxes? Can they be used?
I know I can use google, but really I miss y'all and felt like posting even if it's dumb.

Haha!
this made me LOL.
Well, that's weird, doesn't it go to SF?
If you're on the East coast and sending anywhere in Europe or the Middle East, I'm pretty sure it goes through New York (JFK Airport).
Flat rate boxes are a great deal if you're sending small, heavy things. For bigger, lighter things (pillows, blankets, clothing) you're better off using a regular box and paying for Priority Mail.
No, I meant for those of us on the West Coast. I didn't understand why we would be paying any more to ship it to SF than she would to ship it to NYC.
