Another mishap from me- dog poop smell
Having a great week. Any suggestions getting poop smell out of the carpet? For the past 3 days I have been scrubbing with Oxy clean for pets and adding Natures Miracle. it still reeks.

Baking soda? I don't know if that or vinegar would stain or not though.
Vinegar won't lighten the carpet but I don't personally have good success with it in getting out carpet odors, but it's worth a shot.
I agree with the PP to clean the area the best you can with water (I'd use cool/tepid water), blot out the moisture, use Spot Shot (love that stuff) to get the stain out.
As far as the odor...I have used to use Nature's Miracle with only varying degrees of success until I found ForceOut. LOVE that stuff. It's only available online, but it's worth it. One of the best things Dh ever bought! LOL!
