I stumbled over here from lack of action on my normal board and had probably the best 10 minutes of my week reading that!
Seriously does the world revolve around her? I have a severe tomato allergy. Like send you to the hospital and wind pipe swells within minutes kind of allergy, not blow up the bathroom kind of allergy. I go to Italian and mexican places all the time. I ask if something contains tomatoes, if it comes with tomatoes I explain I'm horribly allergic, apologize, and its fixed. Or I eat around it.

I know a good number of people that are very allergic to either gluten, peanuts, dairy, whatever. They never make a big deal about it - they just order something that they can eat. Restaurants are pretty obliging about providing information/fulfilling requests. When I was going through a period where I could barely eat anything due to illness recovery (no dairy, wheat, or sugar), I sucked it up and nibbled on salad when I went somewhere. No need to make it everyone else's problem.
Too bad there's no dumb-ass vaccine.
Anyone know who Avengeance use to be?
By page 2 I realized that she knows The Nest lingo way too well to be a true first time poster.
