DH is home sick with an awful sore throat/sinus-y crud...I want to pick up some tasty soup on the way home to surprise him with dinner and a movie. I never really order soup out, though, since it's so easy to make at home - so aside from El Rey's (surprisingly!) delicious chicken tortilla soup, which he already had today ... who else has super tasty soup I can snag to go real quick?!

    The chick fil a chicken noodle soup is really good.  My favorite when I have a sore throat is wonton from whatever close by chinese place you can find.

    I did this recently for DH. Carrabba's has a great chicken noodle soup. It's absolutely delicious.

    I like Panera's French Onion and Potato soup.  I also like the chicken enchilada soup at Chili's.

    For a cold? Mo Mong's Pho Ga rocks. Same could be said for Jenni's Noodle House Pho Ga, but I've never ordered it during a cold, just for yumminess.

    I have been fighting a cold all week and got the Randall's signature cafe soups - Tuscan Tomato Basil (has a spicy kick) and chicken noodle.  Both were delicious (just finished off the tomato basil less than 5 minutes ago). :-)

    I LOVE HEB's cafe on the run soups.  Their tomato bisque, baked potato soup, clam chowder, chicken  noodle, and (my fave) green chile chicken soup are AWESOME! I usually get the cold ones since they have had more time for the flavors to really come together.

    Thanks for all of the suggestions! I ended up picking up some Pho and he loved it. Between this post and the SO above -- I'm pretty sure we're going to be having soup all next week! lol

    I love that one as well!  I also like their chicken & orzo pasta soup when I am sick.
