hi, happy saturday!
today was supposed to be my sleep-in day..but i couldn't make it past 6:30. booo. better luck tomorrow, right?
yesterday was pretty crappy. we found out hercules' cancer is back. we won't be perusing chemo, surgery, or add'l testing this time...just medicating him until it's time. he still looks and acts great, so it's a huge improvement from last time. i just need him to meet the baby.............
today i'm taking my 3 hr glucose test. i failed my 1hr, so here i am...sitting, starving at the lab waiting for the vampires to draw blood once an hour. sucky.
hope everyone has a better weekend than me!

That's so sad. T&P for him and that it's not aggressive and that he'll get to meet the baby!
I'm frustrated today. A friend was supposed to come over and take our family picture for us at 11:30...and as usual, she bailed because she doesn't feel well. That's actually rather to be expected so I could get someone else to come take them, except my cousin isn't even out of bed yet. She's the one I'm frustrated with. We make plans, set time day and event, and then half the time she just doesn't follow through. I don't know if it's because she lives with us so we're just not as important for planned things? Yesterday, she drove down to Centralia to meet some guy she's been conversing with who lives in Vancouver. What's the point? She didn't pay us her full rent to have gas money, it's not like she can afford to do that regularly...and she didn't get home until around 3, so even though my friend bailed, my cousin doesn't know that and she's not out of bed yet.
I'm going to go to Ballard early for my dentist appointment so that I can go eat a cupcake. I won't want it after my teeth are shiney clean and I want one damnit. Grrr.

I have today off and not planning on doing much. I'll try and get some laundry done and clean the house up a little. Maybe work on decorating the outside of the house. Right now I'm watching HIMYM with the dog and the cat is spazing out, running around the house.

I'm so sorry about Herc, Jennlin. I just can't imagine and I know he'll get to meet the baby.
I went to the Phinney Holiday craft show today and bought myself a new apron and little wallet thing.
it was pretty exciting. 
H & I have been just relaxing at home. I tried to nap for an hour, it didn't work out so now I'm sitting on the couch watching tv and looking at things online.
hope everyone has a fab day. back to work for me tomorrow.

I'm working on my holiday to-do list at the moment, while DH is cooking me lunch and decorating.
got almost all presents ordered except for BIL (waiting for him to update his wishlist). I'll still need to pick up a few more stocking stuffers for DH and BIL, but basically done with those, too
. still need to address our holiday cards, and put together and order the parents' albums.
Jennlin - so sorry to hear about Hercules. That's so hard.... The hour glucose test is bad enough. I can't imagine three!!!
I am busy ordering pictures, picture frames and Christmas presents. I also ordered a pizza.
Going to be by myself until 9pm tonight. H is on his way to coach a soccer game. Hopefully baby karebear is nice to me. She's sleeping right now. We'll see.
