As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Just want to say hi! What are your plans today?
We just got home (it's about 4:00). We went to lunch and did some Christmas shopping. It is such a nice, sunny day, so we walked around an outdoor shopping center, and a downtown shopping area (Red Bank, NJ for those of you that know NJ)
We saw a few strolling musicians playing Christmas music, a group of carolers (all decked out in Victorian dresses) and I got my first peppermint hot chocolate of the season from Starbucks. It was such a nice day, I love the holidays so much!!!! :-)

I had an open house at work today which was a bust....I'm blaming it on this yucky weather! Tomorrow we are going to my mom's to help set up her new air hockey table and watch the game. We'll also be able to skype with my little brother for the first time since he's left!!
We had company all day yesterday! DH niece got engaged so she and her FI came over so we could meet him and spend the day together. We took them to lunch then the FI showed Mike how to load up his new iPod (and get my music off of it since he hates the stuff I listen to, lol) while niece & I picked up Amanda. I got her set up on the knot too, so she can start planning the wedding. FI left for work and SIL/BIL and my mom came over for dinner. Fire in the pit (yes 43 degrees in MI in December!) and SIL, BIL & niece left around 11pm last night. I can't believe I'm up this early after such a busy day!
Today = gym, baking & football
I painted and cooked all day yesterday. The bathroom is primed and ready for real paint today. Then we went to my friends surprise 30th b-day which was fun.
The dining room is a mess because of the project DH is working on in there but he's ready to finish up painting so that should be cleaned up today! Then maybe I'll get a little decorating done. Tonight we are going to my mom's to celebrate Grandma's 92nd b-day!
