thoughts and prayers? major tmi post...
first, want to say that there is nothing wrong with the baby. however, i rarely ask to t and p, but i have been battling with some back end problems for the last week. without grossing you out, i essentially had to call my doctor in fear of dehydration. i am waiting to hear back from them, and really hoping they arent going to require a trip the the er. i stayed home today, more for the fact that i only got a little over an hour sleep last night due to being stuck in the bathroom. i did manage to get a two hour nap today, but the word exhausted doesnt seem to even come close. jeff brought me a gatorade before he left for work this morning, and i have tried all kinds of food to help, but nothing is working. so, i guess woe is me...haha...bad editing...on phone.

My sister in law dealt with this while pregnant and while at first it wasn't a huge concern it started to become a huge issue with the baby because she wasn't getting enough fluids. The dehydration will become a major source of issues for you while pregnant if it's not put under control - she would get terrible headaches, nonexistent bowel movements and eventually wound up in the hospital several times just to get fluids.
The good news is, this is something you can control. Beware of gatorade (the electrolytes aren't as "good" as we tend to think) and get yourself a special water bottle/cup that you take with you EVERYWHERE. Until you get in the habit of having water on an almost breathing-type basis, set a timer on your phone to go off every 15 minutes and have 8 oz of water. You'll hate having to pee so often, but things WILL get better for you in terms of everything else and a lot of the potential problems you may have with what I stated before will dissipate.
Love you!!

Ugh, that stinks (um, literally?).
As a "seasoned" pregnant woman all of 10 weeks ahead of you (ha ha), I can tell you that I had similar problems in 1st tri and Gatorade became my best friend. It was awful, a few times a week I would wake up in the middle of the night in severe pain. The first few times in particular were terrifying because I thought I was miscarrying.
I started really paying attention to what I was eating to see what triggered it, and it turns out that me+pregnancy=lactose intolerance... which I never had before. Here I was finally allowed to eat as much ice cream as I wanted, and my body couldn't tolerate it
I still have issues sometimes but now that I know some of the specific foods that cause it, things are, umm, flowing much better.
The flip side is that I lost 4 pounds because of it it first tri, which is helping my overall weight gain stay manageable so far.
Good luck, I hope you feel better soon!
I am so glad that you did not have to go into the ER, and that the immodium seems to be helping.
Ugh, staying away from green veggies, that really stinks, it is great that you are working to get your nutrients from other sources though.
Good luck with feeling better and staying hydrated
