You were right. By the time first quarter ended, I knew there was no way in hell I was leaving early. I froze my a** off during second half [it took 20 minutes for me to get feeling back in my fingers since I had to take my gloves off to operate my phone and take pics/video], but it.was.epic.
I will say that Landry was in way longer than I thought he would be. Waaaaaaay longer.
I have to say, it wasn't too bad, especially during the first half. The second half wind was really chilly! We went to a Notre Dame game in northern Indiana in December once and it was nearly a white-out. THAT was miserable. This was tolerable (especially with 1000 layers on.)
At one point, though, after seeing some of the super cute (but incredibly impractical) women's outfits in the student section I told DH, "Thank goodness I'm old enough that I don't feel the need to be 'cute' anymore at things like this and I can just focus on being warm!" 20 year old me would have been MUCH colder
It is very difficult to see ANYTHING from the visitor's side - last time we went (the game where Bradford did his "flip") we weren't able to see the clock, the score, the replays - it was super annoying.
I hope Landry turns pro. I am so over him. And Bob Stoops. But I have been over Stoops now for about five years.
I'm not surprised, either... but it still makes me irrationally angry.
What a fvcked up system. And seriously, could ESPN be anymore biased?!
