AW: embroidered goldfinch
I just finished this as a Christmas gift for my grandmother - she loves birds and is from NJ, so I embroidered a goldfinh, the NJ state bird, for her. I got the pattern from a CD that came with a Martha Stewart craft book that I got from the library. I think it must've had patterns for about 30 different birds! I think it would be so neat to make a quilt someday with blocks of all the different birds :-)
