As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Kindle Fire
I'm thinking about getting one of these as a Christmas gift - does anyone have one? Any thoughts or reviews? Also, I checked with the Urbandale library, and from what I can tell, I would need access to a PC in order to access the library materials on the kindle. I am an Apple user, so this would pose a problem. Any experiences with library materials on an e-reader?

DH got me one for my birthday and I really like it. You can check email, facebook, all websites (with internet connection), and there are a lot of apps too. Oliver plays games on it. I love reading with it- I like that its small enough to carry in my purse and but larger than my droid phone (which I also use to read books on- or did). I found a lot of free books through amazon or other sites. I check out e-books from the library. They go to my amazon account on my computer and then it downloads it directly to my kindle. Its easy and free. I think that if I were an apple user I'd probably stick with apple products though. I'm a big amazon user and don't use apple products at all....
