We bought our house in 2008, hoping to sell soon since we just had a baby and looking for bigger house. I just checked the home value and it's depressing! =( Im not sure if we should just wait for another 3 years before putting it on the market.
Anyone planning on selling and getting nervous like me?
I check the
value of our home here in case anyone want to.

Re: sell or not to sell
If you're serious about wanting to sell, check with a realtor or get an actual appraisal. I hesitate to trust the accuracy of any home valuator website.
H and I are looking to move to the Hampton Roads/Norfolk/VA Beach area in the next few years and we've noticed that the market down your way is very slow. Most of the houses have been listed for a long time (many have been listed for over a year). I find it amusing when the houses that say "this one will move fast", "won't last long", "move now before it's gone", etc have been listed for at least 9 months.

Ditto this. We did the same thing. Most expensive day of our life was bringing over $20k to the table to sell then also our down payment and closing costs on our new house
Made me want to be sick. Babies don't take up that much space so I would not move just becasue of one child. People have kids everyday in 1 bedroom apartments, it just takes planning. One of our best friends has a 700 square foor house with two bedrooms and one bathroom and they make it work really well. Their house is super organized and a great use of space.
If you have the money to bring to settlement to sell and buy plus emergency fund then go for it but if you don't and won't anytime soon then stop thinking about it because it will make you crazy and sad.
