Decorate This
Highs? Saturday was a pretty awesome day overall. I went out with one of my BFFs for most of the day, then spent the evening with family at my sister's 31 party.
Lows? I started coming down with something Friday night and it's gotten progressively worse over the course of the weekend. I felt like death first thing Saturday morning and in between the girls' day and the party that evening.
Do any fun holiday/wintry activities? Christmas shopping and a tiny bit of decorating. I wanted to get a LOT more done, but this cold or whatever it is has kicked my arse.
Eat/make anything good? My tastebuds are pretty much useless. Cheese and crackers are my sister's is the best thing I can recall eating this weekend.
Watch anything good? Dexter, Leverage, and Boardwalk Empire last night
Read anything good? Nope
Any FFCs, vents, AWs, comments? I'm whiny about being sick. I was sick this time last month, too, and I'm so annoyed it's circled back around again. And, TMI, I have my period on top of it, so I'm double-whiny.
In AW territory, my husband's amazing and so very tolerant. I left DD with him from 9am until almost 4pm on Saturday, then on Sunday he got up with her so that I could sleep in. He went to the grocery store for my cookie ingredients, brought me flowers, and then made my cookies for a swap so that I wouldn't infect my cookie recipients. He's amazin.
What are you looking forward to this week? Feeling better and getting the Christmas decorating done. I feel so badly for DD - she's so eager to decorate and I just haven't had it in me.
Someone's getting a little brother!
