Re: what are you looking forward to this week?

  • Nothing at this point.

This countdown is killing me. I'm trying not to make plans since I don't know when this baby will decide he wants out.

  • Busy week ahead of me. I need to bake and decorate a ton of sugar cookies.

I have a cookie exchange Friday night that I need cookies for and then I was asked to make some for a friends holiday party and then I am making some for a friends bday. Other than that I am having lunch with some friends on Friday that I haven't seen in since the summer and I can't wait :)

  • Not too much for this week.

I have to work an extra hour on Saturday because Santa is going to be in our lobby and I have to be there to help any customers just paying bills or putting in ads. (Meaning I sit on my butt listening to music in the upper office alone and help maybe 1-2 people)

  • Lots!

Today I am taking a personal day.  DH is off too.  I just finished most of my Christmas shopping online, am trying to refinance my mortgage, and plan on putting up Christmas decorations and watching Damages.

Tomorrow I am meeting up with some college friends for my 30th birthday because they couldn't come on Sat. to the party.

Wed is my 30th! We are cooking steaks and baked potatoes at home.

Friday I may go out and see a friend who is playing at a local bar.

Saturday I have a hair and nail appt, then my 30th birthday party!

Sunday, I will likely be recovering.

  • I don't have much going on this week, Wednesday I have the day off so I'm making a trip to the town hall to register my car, register one of our dogs with the town and pay our taxes (all super fun stuff). On Wednesday I also have an appointment with a nutritionist.  Other than that, I have a Christmas party on Saturday and that's it.

  • Friday is "Employee Appreciation Day." So, we're out of work at 1. I'll probably do some Christmas shopping.

Saturday is my MOH's annual Christmas party.

  • Today I'm working an extra 4 hours for a coworker. Go extra money!

Friday is DH's platoon Christmas dinner. Go delicious barbeque!

Every other day is a work day, so not much to look forward to there :-/

Congrats to both my TTC buddies, Amberley18 and sb2006 on their beautiful babies!
  • - DH feeling better. He came down with the stomach flu last night and looks and feels like he's going to die. Poor thing is still upstairs working. I had today off, so I'm going to be taking care of him :(

    - DH's first Christmas gift finally arriving. It shipped out last week and today is supposedly the arrival date.

    - Hopefully, seeing my mom. She's in town for the week from GA to babysit my nephew. Her birthday is on the 10th.

    - Getting a new DRYER! We splurged on Cyber-Monday and got the matching dryer to our new washer for more than half off! It's going to be installed on the 9th :)

  • This week is pretty normal. Hopefully I can get my shopping done. I just need to get some booze and a cast iron skillet for Guy, and some stocking stuffers.

Should get commission checks this week so that's always fun.

On Saturday we're going to go check out the new art museum. http://www.crystalbridges.org/

Sunday I'm going to do my baking.

  • I have two orders and another craft fair this weekend, so looking forward to more time in the kitchen and more monies in my pocket. Same again next week - already ahve one order and another craft fair!

That's pretty much it. Not much time for much else.  I would really appreciate if Mother Nature dumped all the snow at one time, rather than this 2-3 inches here and there every day crap.

  • Not much to look forward to this week...

Samma was diagnosed with bronchiolitis this weekend, so she has a follow-up pediatrician appt on Wednesday, which means I'll be taking a half day at work.  Until then, its battles over nebulizer treatements and just trying to keep her in good spirits.

  • Not much. I have my office Christmas party on Friday. I can't believe Christmas is in 20 days like WTF where did the time go. I barley started shopping and I'm having such a hard time thinking of what to get everyone. I haven't even stayed thinking about baking.

  • Thursday because it will be the first "real" paycheck since I went on maternity leave. As much as I loved being home, it sucked getting  drastically reduced pay.
