How is your Monday looking? Mine isn't so promising, I have been up since 4am with B, who is in a terrible mood.

My Monday should be okay. I headed out the door when my walking buddy bailed on me. I attempted to take the dog with me, we got down the block and he stopped because its just too too cold this morning. Thermometer said 28* at 5:50am when we were leaving. We turning around and came back. He is now sleeping with daddy and I'm sitting here trying to decide if I can accomplish anything before work.
Working today and then tonight laundry and start wrapping Christmas gifts.

Came in to find out I'm the only artist on staff today? and my boss has also decided that he's taking the day off. We've only got a handful of major deadlines this week. No biggie.
We got our home decorated this weekend and my Christmas baking has begun. Started off with eggnog, of course. Cookies just don't taste the same without eggnog. Icing is made and the gingerbread dough is chilling out in the fridge; waiting for L to cut out shapes tonight so she can decorate tomorrow. Think I'll make the fudge tomorrow night or Wednesday. Then sugar, butter and Santa Claus cookies are in the line-up for the following days! I'm making myself hungry.

It's been a bit rainy here this morning. It's starting to clear up, though. B-boy and I are headed out to Target and the grocery store. Then my day will be filled with cleaning. I was sick all last week and didn't get much done around here. I have a lot of catching up to do.
I hope your day gets better, MRW. Maybe baby boy just needs a little extra snuggle time.

My Monday is alright so far. My car is in the shop so I'm stuck at home. I'm supposed to go to a Tastefully Simple party this afternoon, so I'm hoping H can bring the car home after his first flight of the day.
H came home from his TDY last night and I'm a little peeved at him. He went on and on about how awesome it was and how much fun they had. Finally when he asked how my weekend went, I told him I had a rough couple of days (nothing major, but I was a little upset) and he didn't even so much as thank me for pulling kid duty solo all weekend with everything that was going on. I know that this is my job in our family right now, but a little recognition would be nice. Oh how I long for the day when I can go away for the weekend without my kid. I love him and all, but I'm sure it'll be a while before I get that opportunity.
That little angel? I don't believe it's possible for him to be cranky. Look at that sweet face lol
I'm kind of annoyed. I woke up early to shower and get ready for work. Just as I'm finished getting dressed and about to head out I got a call from my manager saying there weren't enough appointments and that I don't need to come in. I wish she had called last night so I could have slept in since it's really hard for me to go back to sleep once I've gotten up.

KCD, well work sounds fabulous. Not. I hope your day gets better. Mmmmm baked goods. C doesn't like sweets, and if they are in the house I will eat them all so I haven't baked yet for Christmas. I am starting to rethink that after reading your list though.

Meltoine, what a crappy way for your DH to come home. C was telling me how he is going to this school in May and how he will go hunting and go out and hang out with friends, I told him as far as I was concerned I did not want to hear about it. I will be at home with B while he's having fun. Loser.
Mary! Yes, that little angel face is being a little terror. It is okay, he will snap out of it and be a angel again. Probably about the time C comes home,and then C will ask why I am so frazzled. That sucks about your job, but I have to ask... are you getting excited about S's return?!?

I am feeling off today. It has to do with my kidneys and pain killers though. I wish I could skip school, but we are doing something important for our research papers and I could really benefit from it. Blah.
In spite of my post yesterday, today has actually been pretty great so far.
Baby slept amazingly last night so I'm feeling so refreshed and awake right now. I've had time to clean a little, catch up on blogs, email while he napped and now we're getting ready to hit the gym together. Hopefully I'll get to vacuum today though haha. Funny how I look forward to these things now.
