Weekends reports?
Our weekend was good. We found a house we like, so we'll see how that all pans out. Mostly a nice, relaxing weekend for us!
Re: Happy Monday!
I feel like we ran around nonstop.
Thursday night was a charity event. I had way too much wine and was a mess Friday, but managed to make it to Target, a play group, and Trader Joe's with DS. Friday night we all went out for sushi, then I felt normal again.
Saturday we spent the better part of the afternoon car seat shopping for DS. I was so sad when we put it in. We walked the dogs, took DS for a walk in his wagon, I decorated for xmas a little bit, and had an early dinner with a girlfriend.
Sunday we grocery shopped, went to look at a house, and went to a birthday party.
Did you like the house?
I feel like we ran around like crazy too.
I can't even remember what we did on Friday...
Saturday I did some cleaning. We went to my moms house and told my parents about the baby. We were going to get our tree but they were closed by the time we got there. Then we had to go to a surprise 35th birthday party that I forgot about.
Yesterday was SIL's bridal shower. It was great and she had a wonderful time. I spent the rest of the evening on the couch watching tv with H.
Fingers crossed on the house, LadyE! I forget where exactly you were in the process of selling yours - you have a buyer, yes?
Our weekend was mostly quiet. Saturday night, we went to the Lord Hobo in Cambridge for beers (many, many beers) and dinner. They have mac & cheese with bacon there, and it was so good, I wanted to marry it. Then we watched Our Idiot Brother, which even Paul Rudd and Adam Scott's adorableness couldn't save. Yesterday, we went to the grocery store in the morning. And then my husband watched the Pats game, so I took a walk up to Jenny Boston, where I got my FSIL a cute necklace/earrings set and my mom a scarf. So now I am almost done Christmas shopping, phew!
Good to know about Our Idiot Brother. I think I remember it got horrible reviews, but I wanted to see it because of the cast.
Britax Boulevard
Yes, but it's on the wrong area for us. I am not sure why we even looked at it, I guess we went in expecting to not like it that much, we thought it looked TINY from the outside (I thought it couldn't be more than 1800 sq. feet, it was over 3000). Oh well.
Did you put an offer on the house, LadyE?
I'm exhausted today. For some reason I couldn't fall asleep Saturday night and think I might have gotten around an hour total here and there. Then on Sunday (yesterday) I played in a volleyball tournament. I passed out at 10:30pm last night and got a full eight hours of sleep on a school night for the first time in probably decades. But I'm still so, so sleepy today.
We did go to a great sushi place on Saturday night for my mom's birthday. My sister found it and it's called Sakura in Winchester. They have a ginormous all-you-can-eat buffet menu with so much sushi on it, plus stuff like noodle soup, some Korean dishes, desserts, etc. and it's only $21! We got our money's worth, let's just say that!
Got it. That's so awesome that you have resources like that so you can be sure you're making a good decision!
Yay Lady E!
Friday we picked up my parents and hung out here for the rest of the day/evening. They got their DD fix
Saturday we took DD to a children's Christmas party, then DH and I shopped til we dropped at Legacy Place while my parents watched DD. They took her out to dinner (it's becoming a tradition with them) and had a blast. I spent most of my birthday gift cards
Sunday Mom and I went shopping for boots and left the boys with DD. They had a very relaxing day of football and coloring books.
Our little Irish rose came to us on March 5, 2010
Don't drink the water.

Our weekend started on Thursday, our 1 year Anniversary
We went out to dinner at Romaine's in Northborough (really good!), then came home and watched the Eagles play (I got wife points for that one).
We both took off Friday, so I decided that morning that we would go up to Portland for the night. DH has never been, and I've been once and knew he would like it up there. Went to the Shipyard Brewery for their mini-tour, then got a great deal on a hotel through one of the magazines at the rest stops. Grabbed some dinner and drinks, then got ready and went out dancing to 80's music. The place was packed, and the bartenders are these old ladies, which is kinda funny to see......but, boy, did she make those drinks strong. Saturday (late) morning breakfast, then we headed home (darn hangover).
DH did some side work yesterday, so I did some cleaning and spent way too much $$ at Walmart. Pretty great Anniversary weekend overall!
Thanks 5000C!
