can someone tell me how to friggin post a picture in the post without having to upload it to a website?
not possible, you have to upload it somewhere..whether it be flickr, photobucket, fbook, or tinypic....lots to choose from in addition to these too. all are easy to use..tinypic is super easy.

thanks! It took a lot of effort. I had to rewrap each branch with lights cause my old lights just died (or maybe a few died but they were the old kind of lights where if one bulb dies the whole string looks dead.) It makes the tree look super sparkly when the lights go all the way into the insides of the tree.
I use Facebook and just right click and copy the direct url. XD

Good luck with that! My dad anchored my tree to the wall while he was in town, because more than once my cat has knocked it over. Unfortunately water doesn't work with my cat, so I try to suck it up.
I'll have to take a full picture when I get home...
for now....

Since we'll be out of town for Christmas, we're not setting up a tree this year. So, here's last year's tree!
my h says and i repeat "ah, look at that star. that star is *** awesome. it's a mario star." lol.
kudos for you. we're not putting up a tree this year!

h doesn't want a tree, so i decided to listen to him this year... but he said if we do, we need a star like soralette.

Glad you like it!! Sadly, it barely survived the holiday season; we'll need to remake it out of sturdier materials for next year's tree. Shouldn't be too hard, though; DH basically free-handed that -- he used a ruler, a sharpie, scissors, and some glue, but nothing else. o_o He's so much more talented than I am, lol.
Jennlin -- But the fancy star is soooo pretty and classy and lovely!!
Besides, you could always make ornaments. XD
