Do you get dressed up to go to the Doctors?
I do and apparently its weird. Does anyone else?
Not like if I'm going to my family doctor and I'm ill and feel like death. Then I normally just wear a sweatshirt and sneakers.
But if I'm going to like the gynecologist, cardiologist, etc. I feel like I should look more "put together" for some reason.
ETA: I don't wear like a dress but I do my hair, wear make up, wear nicer jeans/heels, etc.

Re: Do you get dressed up to go to the Doctors?
When my OB/GYN was at the hospital next to work, I would be more dressy because I would come right after my shift.
Now that they are at the other hospital in town along with my primary doctor, I just go casual with jeans and t-shirt.
ETA: I am more comfortable in casual clothes, so since going to the doc is usually not a pleasant time, I would rather be comfy than stuffy.
Ditto. All my doctors are with-in a half-mile radius of my work so that I can just go during my lunch break.

Absolutely not. They're lucky if I'm not in pjs if I am Ill. If it is a checkup I do whatever i am wearing normally.
Stand up for something you believe in.
This!
Funny timing on this question! I dressed up to go to the RE this afternoon and when Jon swung by the house to pick me up to go to the appointment he asked why and I had to think about it. I think I dressed up because this woman will be monitoring our IVF cycle(s) and I apparently want her to think that I have it together enough to have children or something..Like I'm not lounging around working at home in my PJs all day, which I am. It's kind of ridiculous I guess.
Other doctors, I don't really think about what I'm wearing.
I'm usually coming from or going to a different place, so whatever I'm wearing for that. Usually it would be jeans. If I'm sick, then I'll probably be in sweatpants or whatever since it will be unlikely that I'm going somewhere else.
No, t-shirt and jeans usually works for me.
Congrats to both my TTC buddies, Amberley18 and sb2006 on their beautiful babies!
