weepy days-what's your cure?

Do you have days where you just feel tired and weepy?  I am definitely having one of those.  I cried at a you tube video, cried at a picture a friend posted, etc. which leads me to just keep crying about serious stuff.  I slept really well last night, then taught this morning, and could think about nothing except going back to sleep...

It just feels like a movie and hot chocolate day, with lots of cuddles from my pup.  I am starting to wonder if all the pregnancy hormones aren't starting to really get to me, however... I do not feel like myself today and feel awfully sad.

So, DH is bringing home a movie and take out.  What's your cure for a weepy day?  Do you have a go-to movie?

Re: weepy days-what's your cure?

  • I hope your day gets better. I had a day like this a while back and it was really out of the norm for me. I don't really have a cure or go to movie. I love love love Titanic, but I don't know that I would think to watch it on a weepy day. Starbucks is my vice. I think on my last weepy day I went 3 times.
  • The Christmas movie selection at Redbox is TERRIBLE.  I was hoping to find some super happy holiday film but none of the boxes around here have anything.  Bummer!

  • For me, I think I just gotta get it out of my system, so I have a good cry in the shower or I watch a movie that I know I will sob through.  I usually feel better afterward!

I hope you are feeling peppy in no time.

  • I just like being by myself in my emotions. When DH is home and I am feeling this way he lets me go upstairs to be alone in bed, with my laptop and the TV. I usually eat ice cream too. Like Star said, any sad, sappy movie helps me get the crying out of my system.

    Hope your day gets better!

  • I also like to just weep it out. Last time I was watching Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice. It was perfect! Until DH came in and had no idea what was going on Stick out tongue I am a huge lover of ice cream, but recently chocolate in any form has been amazing.

  • Aww hugs, Cassidy! I usually watch a sappy movie or listen to sad songs on the radio.  I usually just need that time to let myself go through those emotions.

Hope tomorrow is a better day:)

  • I agree with others. Crying it out helps me get it out of my system. Cuddling with my H and our pets helps, too :-) Hope your day gets better!
