I got the worse news anyone could get.

My dad was landing his plane in Florida, it crashed and he died.  His friend who was with him survived.  I saw his friend 2 or 3 months after the accident.  His one leg was still in a cast...I haven't seen him since.  But this time of year, ever since, I send him and his wife a Thinking of You card.

    Wow Emily, I had no idea you lost your Dad so tragically.  I'm so sorry for your loss and such a hard time of year to lose someone.

    I'm so sorry for you lose. Where in FL was the crash? My Dad is a pilot and I would always worry about him when he was fling.

    It happened in San Antonio, Pasco County.  Our family business has property in Dade City, Pasco County.

    I think of him often, his birthday was in November, the last time I saw him was Thanksgiving 8 years ago, so for a month I think of him often.  Especially now with having Levi.  Levi's middle name was my Dad's middle name, and the name he went by.

    One of these years I'm going to plant either a weeping white birch tree or a regular white birch tree in memory of both my parents.
