talking incessantly about those Fisher Price Rock N Plays, I slept sooo good last night 
We had a cradle for Jack, but it got ruined when our basement flooded during Hurricane Irene. So, I have been using the Pack N Play for Carter to sleep in until I move him to his crib, but he really doesn't like being flat on his back. I remember how many of you raved about your RNP, so I got one yesterday. He slept a 3.5 hour stretch in it last night - score!! Prior to that, he would fuss a lot and not sleep as soundly. Plus, the RNP is small enough that I can carry it into other rooms of the house and he can chill in it when I need to put him down.
So, thanks for the inadvertent recommendation!

Yay for a long chunk of sleep! I have a RNP on my registry because of this board.
How are you feeling? How is Jack adjusting? Are things with your ex going okay? Been thinking about you!
Glad that you had a quick and easy solution!! How has the adjustment been back home?
I'm with Cassidy, I have a RNP on my registry due to this board. I was originally inheriting the bassinet that's been passed around my family, but there are too many ppl due soon after me in New England (where the bassinet is currently) for me to justify hauling it to SC.

I am feeling great! Today is the first day that I don't feel like I have to sit down verrrry carefully, so I think that means I am almost healed down there. Jack is adjusting well - he loves his "brudder Cawta" and is always kissing him and going "awwww" lol it is hilarious.
As for the ex - he has been staying here at the house with me since Carter was born. We do get along well and he has been helping me out until I healed, but it has certainly been a little awkward. I just don't enjoy spending time with him at all. He goes back to work tomorrow, and I am looking forward to having my house to myself again. I appreciate his help, and am glad he has been able to bond with Carter, but I am ready for him to go so I can figure out my new routine with the boys.

Good, glad the healing is coming! And that Jack is being as adorable as usual.
Definitely a blessing that you guys at least get along well enough to manage in situations like this, but I can understand your side for sure! Good luck with the boys tomorrow by yourself!
