Boardwalk Empire 12/04/11 *spoilers*

Well, I think we knew that if it hadn't happened already, it was going to.  I.C.K.  And the way she walked the little boy up the stairs at the end and told Jimmy something to the effect that she'd be in her room?  Take the boy and run, Jimmy!!

  • Ew ew ew! I have always thought their relationship was f'ed up and now we know why. If I was Jimmy I would take my son as far away from his mother as I could.

I can't wait to see what they are going to do for the season finale.

Van Aldeen is in it deep. I don't know where he thinks he's going to run. The federal goverment is after him. I had a thought that he might marry the dutch nanny and then try to leave the country.

Nucky and Margaret's relationship looks like it will not last (again) this season. I think she needs to get with Owen and live a simple life. I wonder if Katie might tell Nucky what she heard.

I felt so bad for Richard when Jimmy's mother called him a simpleton. You can tell Anglea's death is going to take a serious toll on him.

  • What a crazy episode last night, very disturbing.  I agree with both pp's about Jimmy and his son getting the hell away from his mother asap.

I'm so glad Van Alden was finally called out on drowning his fellow agent last season.

I felt so badly for Jimmy and Richard in their grief for Angela's death.

Margaret is a total liability for Nucky, what is she thinking?  And it's not like she is totally innocent herself.

I am so excited for the season finale!

  • Yes, I can't say that I'm surprised it happened. Like you said, it either happened before or was leading up to it. They just had a creepy relationship from the get go. I really hope Jimmy takes his son away from her. She's so awful and I feel so bad that Tommy will have to grow up in that messed up family. She totally set him up to get kicked out of school. I'm guessing she found out that guy she was flirting with was Jimmy's professor and knew Jimmy would stand up for her if she claimed the guy went to far. I think she was hoping that if Jimmy got kicked out of school he would move back to Atlantic City and away from Angela (because she was clearly jealous of Angela) since she didn't know at the time Angela was pregnant. I also can't believe that crazy biitch wants to just tell Tommy his mommy went to Paris or whatever. Geesh.

I agree that Margaret is going crazy too. I found it interesting that while she was so boldly confessing how she had lied, stealed, etc. that when Nucky asked her who she cheated on she didn't mention her little affair with Owen. She is such a hypocrite. Now that the maid, Katie, knows about her and Owen I wonder if she will spill the beans to Nucky.

I was glad Van Alden got called out too for drowning the other agent. It should be interesting to see how he does on the run. I wonder what will happen to his baby.

  • Oh.My.God. So much going on in that episode.

Jimmy and crazy-mom? Ew. She is so royally f*cked up it's not even funny. Poor Jimmy for having to deal with that his whole life. He does need to get away.

I was sympathetic toward Margaret for a while, but I think I'm done. She's gone too far lately.
