Speaking of Tricare RE: Walgreens
Did y'all get your letters/phone calls that Walgreens will no longer accept Tricare? It's probably not a huge deal for y'all who are on post but since I've been filling mine there for years, I have to figure out where to do mine now. Frick.

Re: Speaking of Tricare RE: Walgreens
They have been putting out things for months about it, but I figured they would come to an agreement like they did last time this happened.
I used to go to Rite Aid with Tricare so maybe you could try there.
I get mine at CVS but that's because my Dad manages one and is staunchly opposed to Walgreens which apparently rubbed off on me
I'm looking to do mail delivery though, since I think I read somewhere it would be free?? But I could be wrong on that.
No the 90 day supply thing I believe is free. I wonder how that works since I'm Tricare prime remote now. I may switch to CVS because it's the only other thing we have other than Wal-Mart and Target. Or maybe Target since they give coupons a lot. Hmm...
Ahh that's it then. Thanks for the clarification. Search online or in the weekly Target and CVS circular. They sometimes offer a coupon for a gift card for transferring your prescription.
I know I have seen something for Target but never tried CVS. I'd probably go Target just because I do some of my monthly shopping there anyway.
Semi-personal questions: Have they ever had any issues giving you your anxiety meds?
Just silly things. Like a tech asking me why I needed a 24 hr dosage(clonazepam) plus my anti-depressant(Zoloft) and Xanax. I spoke to her supervisor and he said she was new and apologized. But I also had an issue with them not wanting to fill my Xanax because it hadn't been a month since my first script(which was only a 14 day Rx anyway). Idk, just seemed like they questioned me a ton and it made me kind of uncomfortable. But it was the only place I really knew I could go, KWIM?
It was extremely easy. It's called Express Scripts and you can find them online. They'll contact your doctor for your first prescriptions that you are changing over to them. They don't transfer them from the actual pharmacy. Then, any other prescriptions you'll get you need your doctor to rx them through Express Scripts instead of say your local CVS, Walgreens, etc.
The people are very nice from my experience so far.
I am so behind on this, but WTF? Assbags.
Not like I have Tricare at the moment anyway, but still.
From my understanding, Walgreens wasn't even coming close to making a profit because Tricare was only paying them the bare minimum for the meds. I guess the last two years or so they'd been bickering back and forth and always reached an agreement. This year, they didn't.
Bah. Walgreens has been pissing me off lately anyway. Off to CVS we go (which is where we are supposed to go anyway).
