PIP your Christmas decor
We didn't decorate last year, so this year has been fun. Our tree is a little sad, but I like it. It only has cat ornaments on it. lol! I have a couple blow up snowmen outside and lights, but nothing huge.

I have one thing only, I made it the week before Thanksgiving:
I really want a tree but DH is a grinch and we'll only be here for less than 2 weeks anyway.

I didn't know about this either! I've always emailed them to myself then uploaded from a computer. Just downloaded the app! I'll take some pictures and try it out in a minute.

I'm so mad about the tree! Usually I have this really pretty cream ribbon that I use on the tree as garland, but I missed a box of Christmas stuff and completely forgot about the ribbon until all of the ornaments were on. Now I can't decide if it's worth it to pull the ornaments off, put the ribbon on then put the ornaments back on. I know it would be a PITA, but the ribbon makes it look "finished" to me...
Hm, I didn't think of that. I probably could and much more easily, but IDK if I like that look as much. Ugh, decisions. #firstworldproblems
I have a bow topper and ribbon garland and I don't like having both. I'm going to take the ribbon off since my cats have destroyed it.
What I have done before (and really like) is I cut the ribbon into decent sized strips (2-3 ft long) and i stick it in the tree with no real rhyme or reason. It makes it look like the ribbon is threaded through the tree. Hard to explain. I'll try to take a pic when I get home tonight.
LB, I LOVE your tree with the ribbon. It's still pretty, but I totally see where you are coming from. I would probably get the ribbon out if it were me, but we know I'm not exactly normal when it comes to christmas.
And I almost don't want to post mine because it's so.. umm... different? compared to you ladies. DH calls it "christmas throw-up" (...affectionately. lol)... I call it.... delightfully tacky? haha. Let's just say Martha Stewart would go back to jail before featuring my "designs" on her show.
You're right. I have another day off so I'll probably redo the tree. *sigh* Also the dogs have had mismatched stockings that didn't match anything else before, but this year I caved and ordered them coordinating Pottery Barn stockings to match ours!
