V. Impt Clicky: If you have a simplehuman trash can (or other can with removable insert)
Do you/spouse remove the insert when removing the garbage bag? I do not. I may lift it up a bit to remove the bag edges or to tuck the new bag under, but I never need to take the entire liner out of the can just to remove the bag.
rrr will only empty the trash if I ask him to (as I did tonight because I didn't want to go outside), but he ALWAYS pulls it out and leaves it out. He does not put a new bag in...I suppose because I did not ask him to do that. [eyeroll]

This.
This is my DH to a T
Are we married to the same man? DH rarely takes out the trash, and for the first year claimed it was too complicated to put the bag in. Now he'll take out the trash, but the liner is almost always left empty in the middle of the kitchen. I almost died last week when I came home and the trash had been taken out and the bag replaced.
I rarely take the liner out.
