Photo Books

I know this has been discussed 1,000 times, but humor me and give me some recommendations, please!

I am making a book of my sister-in-law's senior photos, and I am trying to use MixBook. However, the uploader will not work at all. I even switched computers thinking my PC might just be too slow, but now I'm on my MacBook and no luck still. I'm really disappointed because I've always used MixBook and really love it (plus I found a code for 40% off). But I really need to get this done and ordered tonight because it's going to be a Christmas gift.

Recommendations, please?? Thanks!!

That stinks! I just finally ordered out wedding album from there with the 40% off coupon. Ive been waiting for a good deal. I made one for my parents thru picaboo and was quite pleased with the outcome. They were afforable as well.

I sent their customer service an email, but I don't think they'll respond in time :( It sucks because I really like them! Thanks for suggesting Picaboo. I will check it out.

  • I used Picaboo to make our wedding album and it turned out gorgeous!  Hope something works out for you.

Also I've made photobooks on snapfish before and they turn out pretty nice.  They are always running promotions as well so you can get them really cheap.

  • I have seen photo books made on Shutterfly that look great. I made one on Snapfish last year around the holidays for bro and SIL of my new nephew.  It turned out okay. I was trying to upload pics to snapfish last night and their uploader wasn't working either.  I think with Christmas coming up and Snapfish had a penny print promotion the websites just can't handle it.  Let us know what you ended up doing!
  • I love MixBook, but I've also had really great results with My Publisher. I'm not a big fan of Shutterfly, and I've never used the others.

Uh oh! I used Shutterfly! It seemed to be having the best deal at the moment. Obviously I don't have the finished product yet, so I'll have to let you all know how it turns out. The software was easy to use, though. And my photos uploaded pretty quickly.

I'm really bummed Mixbook wasn't working because I really like their products. They emailed me back and suggested I upload to another photo sharing site they support and then import them from that to their site. Sounds like a lot of work to me!
