Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Seriously? Flake vent
I had lined up a petsitter/housesitter. She was a gal who used to help out in one of DS's earlier toddler rooms. She readily agreed to it and said she would leave her phone # in one of our kids' folders. She didn't. No problem, figured she forgot. So after a post here said she'd left, I called her twin sister who still worked at the center and got her #. The sister also took mine and said she would talk to her about contacting me as the girl lived with her sister. I called her last week asking her to call me back to finalize details and so on. Nothing. Turns out she is a little flakey. I had to leave the ultimatum call tonight of call me by tomorrow afternoon or I book someone else (said a bit nicer but that is the gist).
By now the kennel is booked so we will have to probably tag team with the neighbors and the other housesitter/petsitter we've used who wasn't going to be around for the full time. Seriously, what kind of person flakes at the last minute right before a major holiday when it is going to be difficult to get someone? I'm lucky that I can probably work it out among neighbors and babysitters but otherwise, I would be royally screwed.

Ugh, I'm sorry. Have you asked around to see if any other teachers would be interested??
That'll be second option. I'll wait to see if C responds by tomorrow like I promised her and then I'll probably go with the neighbors and the other sitter we usually use from there.
