What is your soft drink of choice?

I only drink a few cans a month but when I do drink it I usually drink Coke Zero.

Does anyone remember a few years ago when Pepsi had something that was like Blue Raspberry coke? I really liked that.

  • In the states, Dr. Pepper (well Diet Dr. Pepper, but real DP tastes sooo much better).

    Here, I love Coca-Cola.

  • Coke Zero...unless we're talking as a mixer, then it's soda water or tonic with vodka Wink

  • Mine is probably super easy to guess, but DIET MOUNTAIN DEW!!!  Omg, I'm perfectly fine admitting that I'm addicted.

Here, however, it's Diet Pepsi or Diet Coke...I prefer Diet Pepsi, but will drink Diet Coke in a pinch.

  • I'm actually trying to kick the soda habit, but when I do have one, I prefer Coke Zero (or even better - Cherry Coke Zero)!

Ditto all of this.  We also have this diet soda called Tab X-tra here, which isn't as fab as real Tab (different logo, too) which I like.

Onesly your siggy drives me nuts because I PPH Diet Dew.  When I'm in the US I travel around and visit a lot of different houses/apartments.  I carry my half-empty box of Diet Dew between them and do not share any with the occupant.  They understand because they can have that sweet nectar of the gods whenever they want and I only get it a few weeks per year.

  • Pepsi Throwback. Real sugar. SO good.

  • If I could pick anything, it would be black cherry New York seltzer, but you can't get that here, and actually, I'm not sure if it's even made anymore?  Sad.  Otherwise, I like Canada Dry ginger ale and Diet Coke, both with loads and loads of ice.

  • Coca cola, I started drinking it when I was pregnant, before then I couldn't even drink a half can of pop.
  • My go-to drink is diet coke.

Onesly, I'm sorry, but mountain dew makes me gag. Blech.

  • Honestly, I don't like soft drinks.  I have one once per year or so.  Sometimes, I have a slip of coke that H might have.
  • In the US, Diet Coke. Here, coca zero or fanta zero.

  • Cream soda is my absolute favorite but it's tough/expensive to find good ones over here.
I like pineapples...they make life just so much more interesting.

  • When I was in the States I lived on diet Coke. Since moving here I nearly gave it up (was only having one a week) because it is soooooo darn expensive here!

Since my DH has been in hospital I have reverted a little bit but now I'm drinking the Soda Stream version of it primarily. I'll give up the habit again when he finally comes home.

  • Something pretty much unique to North Carolina (where I have spent the past year and a half travelling back and forth for work) is called Cheerwine. It's amazing. It's a cherry flavored soda. The really short history of it is that during WWII when there was a lot of sugar rationing the founder wanted to make a soft drink that was more naturally sweet, so that they could use less sugar and still have a delicious soft drink. The result was Cheerwine and now I'll never have it again lol.
  • THere is something about diet coke that must be like crack rock, because the people I know who drink it, LOVE IT.

  • When I lived in Spain, I loved Fanta. I even drank it in mixed drinks. Now I shudder at the thought.

I'm not a huge soda person, but I will get a Coca-Cola or Cherry Coke craving every once in a while. And as far as random but yummy goes, nothing quite compares to Inca Kola. It tastes like bubble gum.

  • Regular Coke or Regular Pepsi. I go both ways ;)

Me too, actually. I really can't say that I've got a preference between the two.

  • I don't drink soft drinks.  I've never liked them.  The only carbonated beverages I care for are alcoholic (sparkling wine, cider).

Same for me. Actually as a kid I didn't like anything carbonated/with bubbles. I don't have a problem with the 'bubbles' now but I guess since I was never able to drink pop as a kid (and by kid I mean up until I was 14-15 maybe) I just never got a taste for it.

I may occasionally (like maybe two three times every summer) have a Malibu and Coke but I never ever ever drink Coke by itself. And don't even mention Root beer or I will actually gag.

I do however love the Santa Cruz Organic Ginger Ale but that's it and even though I love it I rarely drink it.

And I absolutely hate ice. If someone brings me a drink with ice in it I always scoop it up and throw it away.

  • Cherry Coke Zero.

Here, if we go out and I feel like being bad, Orange Kas.
When we went to France, I was in Orangina heaven!

  • Coca-cola, but made with out corn syrup, real sugar please!

I also like a nice Bundaberg Ginger Beer. So much better than ginger ale!

I cannot stand Inca Kola, just the smell makes my stomach churn.  DH, on the other hand, loves that shitt.

  • Diet coke on both sides of the ocean, though I prefer the Euro diet coke over the US stuff.
