What's on your holiday baking list this year?

So far I'm thinking,  double chcoloate chunk cookies, Peanut butter blossoms, Peanut Butter Cup Cookies http://allrecipes.com/recipe/peanut-butter-cup-cookies-iii/, something with Cranberry and maybe sugar cookies and gingerbread cookies. I don't think I'll get to all of those this year, but might make a few for some gifts at least.

Re: What's on your holiday baking list this year?

  • I can't wait until my kitchen gets finished so I can do some legit baking! My poor kitchen aid has been neglected the last 4 months.

I want to do Chocolate No Bakes, Molasses Cookies, an awesome Chocolate Chip cookie with oatmeal, and a recipe that I just pinned for Pumpkin Cheesecake Cupcakes.

  • I always make oreo cookie truffles, pumpkin chocolate chip cookies, chocolate chip cookies, chocolate covered brownies, toll house cookie pie, and a few other things...

  • I only make one thing every year - Peanut Butter balls. I am still making them for Christmas (per the request of our families!) this year

But I am also going to try:

Chocolate chip cookie dough truffles, Red Velvet Cream Cheese Cupcakes & Mint brownies

Thanks to Pinterest I am becoming quite the cook and baker! My husband is loving it!!

chocolate sandwich cookies with peppermint buttercream and candy cane bits

    I plan to make:

    almond cookies

    chocolate viennese sandwich cookies

    candy cane cookies

    black forest fudge

I may extend into January so I can also make a chocolate fruit cake and gingerbread men.

  • I made pumpkin cheesecake... not sure what else is on my menu. I am going to waste some time at work looking for ideas!
  • I pretty much do Christmas Baking all year long.  Guilty.

I always make doughnuts christmas morning.  And I may do my soft sugar cookie recipe for Santa.

    - "moose chips" aka crunchy PB with chocolate on top bars

    - Italian anise Christmas cookies

    - chocolate chip cookies (per DH's request)

    - "Yum Yum Balls" They have medjool dates, nuts, rice krispies, and plenty of sugar inside, rolled in conf. sugar

    - biscotti for gifts

    - I always make some sort of dried fruit scone for Xmas morning.
