Barcelona recs?
Can anyone recommend a holiday rental or hotel in Barcelona you've used?
I've contacted a few places from homeaway and vrbo, but they are all mostly coming back unavailable and then linking me to a much higher priced rental. We found this when we were booking a house in L.A. too. Annoying.
Any other recs for things to do or restaurants would be great too.
We'll be there just after xmas with the kid and my SIL and brother. I can't wait!
Re: Barcelona recs?
I stayed at the Villa Emilia in Barcelona and I thought it was a nice hotel and the breakfast was really good.
I had an awsome lunch at the Le Meridien on the Ramblas. I didnt order off the daily lunch menu. I ordered from the regular menu and the lamb and roasted pork was to die for.
I really didnt like Montserrat. I didnt think it was worth the time and price to see the monastery.
I really enjoyed the Magic Fountain and the park of Montjuic.
