Re: HIMYM
I cried. A lot.
I am really curious to see what will happen next though.

Eskamo - I did too. My best friend from college was told she could never have kids when we were living together (she's had a lot of medical complications since she was born) and I remember staying up with her for days crying. She still calls me when she gets upset about it. That episode just really hit home.
Alise - I know! I have absolutely no guesses about what is coming. I did read that they're trying to bring the focus back on the core group instead of all of the outside people they had been writing in (Zoe, Kevin, etc.).

That episode felt really cheap (but there were good parts, too). They could have done without the fake kids. That was just mean. I am kind of happy they kept Robin true to her not wanting kids and being career focused, instead of the more romantic discovering she really wanted to be a mom route (although part of me thinks she really would like being a mom).
I thought it was a bit odd for them to just throw the whole Robin and Barney have kids "thing" out there. I think it's going to be interesting to see if they have Robin and Barney get married, given that it's become obvious Barney wants to be a dad.
I thought the part with the Christmas lights at the end was really sweet.
