During arbitration Alica's new hire was put up against the person they turned down. Turns out that girl is now working for Michael J Fox (sorry about the names) and is bitter.
In the middle of the case Alicia's daughter is missing. Alicia has 12 missed calls from her but her phone is now dead and a girl at school reports she left with a guy. They try to track her down and it turns out she was at a religious ceremony in a bad area of town and had been butt dialing her mom. Not kidnapped as they suspected.
Back to the case with Michael J Fox- Alicia loses because he took some papers out of Alicia's briefcase while she was looking for her daughter. After the case he offers her a job again and says she needs time to be with her kids. She turns him down again. She returns to the office where she is let go by Will to try and put a stop to the investigation by Peter's office.

I thought at the end Alicia was breaking up with Will?
This is what I thought too. I didn't think Alicia knew about the investigation by Peter.

Yeah, this is what happened.
PP must be confused because at the end Diane comes in to pour Will a drink and tells him "you did the right thing" and Will lets her think he broke it off for the firm. I think Will was actually going to commit to her, not break up with her. When Diane said "she'll get over it" I was so sad when Will said, "yeah. She will."
Weird because this whole season I've been kind of off the Will/Alicia train. It just hasn't felt right since they got together. I knew it the second she didn't take his call in the car that she'd end it. I am wondering if there is a chance for her and Peter (which of course will then end when she finds out he was/is investigating Will).
Poor Khalinda. I wanted Alicia to know that she found Grace for her. I'm ready for them to be friends again.
