FFC: The only items in my recycling bin are empty wine & beer bottles & pizza boxes.
This is my vent/complaint: So I'm really annoyed/irked at my next door neighbors. They moved in about 2 months after us & earlier this year (April? May?) put their house in the market. Big surprise, it didn't sell. So around August, they moved & rented it out. My realtor told me yesterday that they just listed AGAIN... This time as a short sale... For $199k(~$40k less than they paid). Here's what pisses me off: The reason they wanted to sell? Their house wasn't BIG enough (2 stories, 2500+ sq ft, 4/5 bedrooms) for them & their 2 kids. So they put it on the market & built another house in Nocatee that was bigger. I get that some people have had to short sale in this market. I get that. But this? Is fvcking ridiculous & purely greedy & we wonder how our economy got in the craphole its in now. & word on the street is they used their disabled child as a way to get the short sale approved. They're claiming they didn't realize 2 stories would be such an issue for a CHILD WHO CAN BARELY WALK. Yeah.

I found out today that instead of getting 4 hours of overtime this week, I'm losing 7 hours of regular pay. The mom is sick and her parents decided to come stay with her b/c her H is OOT and when they're in town I get pushed out. I cannot afford this right now. After losing hundreds of dollars last month b/c she decided to go on vacation last minute and now this I'm livid. Ive got tons of apps and resumes out and I'm going by the local call center tomorrow to see about a nights/weekend position.
Last month I was fending off babysitting jobs left and right and overbooking myself and now when I really really need the money, no one needs me. I could really use a babysitting job right about now.
This really really sucks.
On the other hand, my mom has been really supportive and awesome through this so I don't feel like I'm being pushed out the front door anymore. That helps.
I have an appt with my counselor tonight and I'm not looking forward to how emotional it's going to be. I haven't been in a couple months, so I know it will be rough.
Im going to Christmas dinner Friday night with my dad and all of his friends and his girl friend. Gag me.

I was seriously tempted to run this annoying kid over with my car last night. He NEVER pays attention while riding his bike & he's just a little douchebag. As I was making a right turn onto my street, he moved from the other side of the road, cut right in front of my car (good thing I was paying attention) & hopped the curb onto the sidewalk. I hate that kid.

I chart and we use condoms when needed. It can be done, but make sure you do your research to know when you are fertile or not. My good friend got pregnant using condoms "only when she was fertile", but when she explained to me when during her cycle that was, I had to laugh because she was using them opposite of when you're supposed to. She never read the book, just figured she knew how it worked.

You have to use them for like a week before your fertile window as well, correct? I'd be too freaked out not to use them all the damn time. lol
Vent: I am so sick of my job being a "temporary" position. Make me permanent already!
FFC: We thought we got such a good deal buying our Australia plane tickets with frequent flyer miles. Now that we are planning what to do while we're there, all I can think is HOLY CRAP this is expensive. We are seriously considering staying in hostels (bunks with 6-8 people per room) to save some moolah. I had no problem with that during my single years, but somehow, as a married couple... idk.

Yeah, I'm not super great at predicting when ovulation is coming up, so here's what I do: I start using condoms around CD8 (they say sperm can stick around inside you for up to 5 days. I've never in my life ovulated before CD14, usually much later.) Then I use them all the time until my temp tells me that I've already ovulated. That means I get ~2 weeks at the end of my cycle to go without condoms. So for me, if I have a 60 days cycle, I'll use condoms from CD8 until CD40-something or whenever it is I finally ovulate (as evidenced by my temps). It's a little overkill, but I feel better about it that way. Now that my cycles are getting shorter and closer to normal, I have a shorter timeframe I have to use them, which is great. But there's always that 2 week free window at the end which we look forward to. Sorry if this is more than anyone wanted to know!

I'd definitely recommend that. This pregnancy is a result of sex on cycle day 11 or 12. I normally ovulate on CD 15 or 16. Didn't exactly expect this ...

I know we're talked about this on the board before, but we would want a bigger house if we had more than one kid. I want to have a guest room, H wants to have an office plus two kid rooms plus a master = 5 bedroom minimum. I'd like a bonus room on top of that as well.
I get being annoyed about the short sale, but I don't judge people who an afford it for wanting more space.
I think personally I have trouble putting "short sale" and "can afford a bigger house" in the same sentence.
ETA: I agree about wanting a 5 bedroom though. It's what I'd be looking for if/when we ever move.

I'm not sure if this is a vent, complaint, confession or whatever.
I called animal control and the association on my neighbor. They let their large yellow lab out unsupervised all the time. Now not only is it using the bathroom on people's lawns, but it's cornering people. I was fed up. Plus, it runs out in the street all the time and I refuse to be the person that can't stop in time and hits that damn dog. They are not going to put that on me.I'm home today and What Not to Wear is one I've already seen before. I never watch this show and out of how many hundreds of episodes I've already seen, this one is on?

I have a confession: I'm crying over the lamest things because of AF this month. Pins on pinterest are making me cry. I almost cried this morning when she told me my hours were getting cut. I bawled last night watching Dr. Who and then again at HIMYM. I read a news article and cried. Stupid YouTube vids are making me cry!!
