Hey Pearls,
What software do you for your photo editing? Im just now starting to get into this and your pics look AMAZING!
Photoshop Elements 9
I've had it since last Christmas and have just recently started playing around in it...I was too intimidated lol. Reading PSE for Dummies and watching a lot of YouTube videos has helped though!
Hi! Nice photos!
I like the second one a lot, though it doesn't look incredibly sharp.. but it's hard to tell a lot about these having to scroll left and right to see the whole thing, haha.
I also like the idea of the last one, but I don't think it was as successful as it could have been. It seems a little flat. But I like the tones. And the colors in the bokeh/reflections.
The pup... sometimes I just have to have it in Lightroom and play with it myself to figure out what's missing, ha. It's a nice shot. Maybe up the contrast a little, or push your blacks? It seems like this shot was taken with a direct flash? It has that look, but I'm just guessing.
Thanks for sharing! I think we should share more photos!
Haha
Thanks for the tips...and I agree, I think we should share more photos! I'm going to NYC next week and I can't WAIT to snap off hundreds of shots
For the champagne glass - I'm not sure. I'd have to see the original.
For the dog - I agree, it's a great start! I think a lot of photog pros and enthusiasts will tell you to stay away from direct flash at all costs if you want a natural-looking photo with no funky shadows or bad contrast.
NYC is a great place for photography! I hope you enjoy it, and you should share some shots when you get back
