Orris Root Powder? For Pomanders?
I was going to make some orange pomander balls - you know, where you stick whole cloves in patterns on an orange so you have both a pretty and good smelling decoration -- but all the instructions I read say to use Orris Root Powder to preserve it.
I've had no luck finding it in my grocery store. Anybody know if any craft store carries orris root powder or do I have to find a specialty herb/spice place?
