I told myself I would stay out of the adamswife drama. And I did this morning.
But this afternoon's post is just so far over the top that I find it hard to believe she is real. And she just keeps coming back for more. I know it is wrong of me to join the pile on and you can yell at me if you want, but seriously? SERIOUSLY?

I actually think she's real. Which is why I don't have a problem with people telling her how stupid she is and mocking her for it. That's part of the reason why I'm so addicted to Judge Judy.
Besides, those dog-in-wedding gown pictures literally made my afternoon.

I hate it when people bait her, but I just did it, too. I don't know what's wrong with me!!
I am just finding the whole "lets talk about why gay marriage is or isn't wrong" some more conversations to be ridiculous. and she keeps bringing it up and coming back for more. It's useless to try to have a conversation with her because it gets us nowhere and then the whole board goes into a tizzy and is just useless for the rest of the day.
With the exception of the gay marriage debates, I'd say the board is just fine. Really. There's an occasional weirdo, and things generally are much, much better in the morning, but I'd say it's mostly good over there.
I completely agree. She's a mess.
But I find myself defending her in the "care package" post.

A frat mentality is a good way to describe it. It is nauseating and juvenile.
In response to her post I told her we needed to make it illegal for stupid people like her to reproduce although I realize it is a bit late in her case.
And then I saw the care package thread! I thought how perfect -send her a case of condoms! But I kept my mouth shut. That post was a bit insulting and I already felt bad (but not too bad) about callling her stupid & telling her she should not reproduce.
I LOL'ed at your comment in the gay cousins thread. That whole post was just so over the top that I don't think it should have been dignified with a serious answer. She was clearly just trying to stir the pot.
but the care package thread...god. Like soprano said, it's one thing to think "this chick needs to lighten up" and another to post pictures of plastic penises in her honor.

The thing is -- there is clearly some sexual dysfunction going on in that relationship. A man who refuses to go down because his mom turned out to be a lesbian and messed up something in his childhood? That's a bizarre thing to tell anyone. But given he's already making excuses to her, given she's accepting this -- there is something awry.
Not at all judging different sexual preferences -- but the excuses he's giving, and the fact that she's talking about it to strangers about it suggest something is really wrong. That's why I find it so awful. It's already a problem in the relationship. She's a real person. A real person with crappy views, imo, but she's a real person with real issues with her husband.
Though it is dildoless, I am honored.
I admit that I have not read through all of the gay marriage-related threads she has posted since I posted to one of them yesterday morning, so I don't know how ridiculous it got. However, I do think the general concept she was initially questioning ....a civil right is a civil right is a civil right regardless of the circumstances ....makes complete sense to me.

I agree it gets a bit much when eeevvveeerrryyyoonnneee gets on AW's case, but seriously she posts and runs and is obviously beating a dead horse and obviously doesn't get that she is fighting a loosing battle and when you are the "only" person with your view point on any board its time to let the dead horse alone.
