So, our road is getting totally torn up right now as the city has decided that late November/throughout December would be a great time to dig up everything and put in new sewer lines. So, every day, they dig 12' deep trenches at around 6:45 am, work until 8:00 pm when they fill the trenches back up with gravel and dirt. Repeat the cycle ad nauseam. It's been raining the past few days and the road is a muddy, overflowing mess.
Apparently that's not the only thing that's a muddy, overflowing mess though. Today, I got a knock on the door from one of the workers asking me not to flush our toilet, because some of the guys in the trenches were getting sprayed.
Eeeewww. That's the first time I've had a request like that before!
Re: *Knocking at my door*
