I have an appt on Thursday to talk to my doc about the 2 other perm bc options I found. I wanted to get an ok from her that one of these options will work with my body. If one of these work then I'll start counseling early next year and, hopefully, have it done some time mid or late next year.
Do you think it's important that I bring H in this early process of the decision making process?

I think I would bring H along, not so much because I think he really NEEDS to be there at this point in time, but because having another set of ears who listen is always beneficial. That way you both can get any questions you have answered about both procedures, any sort of care or assistance H would need to provide, any complications or issues you need to think about, etc. Then, if after processing it all you have questions or can't remember the specifics of each option, H may be able to remember so you don't have to call the Dr. again.
FWIW, I think it's great that you're embracing being childless by choice - I know there's a lot of pressure and stigma attached to choosing not to have children, but if you think that's what you and H want to do then I think it's wonderful you're not letting others try to change your minds. I don't know why people butt into other's personal business so much - this is a highly personal (and life altering decision!) and I'm always appalled at how people respond. So, I just wanted to say - go you!
you mean, like how whiney I'm going to be post op?
yes! but i was thinking more along the lines of...: how long you'd be out of commission for sexxaytime.

If H knew about this convo he'd be thanking you for looking out. Haha.
I didn't know if I was being too weird about this whole thing for asking him. I think he gets a little squeamish talking about girl parts, so I try and spare him as much as possible. I'll take him along though.
well please make sure he knows i'm thinking of his well being.

I think so. I mean, I assume you two have talked about it a ton already, but IMO the less mystery for him, the better.

Sorry, I haven't been on here much. Are you just looking for permanent bc or is there another reason you are considering a procedure? If it's just bc, would your H consider a vasectomy? It is a much simpler and safer procedure.
... so, yes, I'd bring H... to the Vasectomy Clinic

husky has talked a lot about wanting to end her ability to have kids (and no periods), so this is definitely something she wants
