RHOBH 12/5 - spoilers
Was Brandi completely naked under her sheer white jumpsuit?? Klassy! Although, even if this was the case it was still rude of Kyle and the others to mock her at her own party.
Camille should not bring that friend of hers out in public. What a drunken bafoon. Get out of Taylor's face already and stop making it like Camille is a victim.
Taylor was obviously in a horrible place. This was filmed in May (based on the Cinco de Mayo party), so just a few months before she filed for divorce, right? She really seems about to lose her marbles.
A good episode. Wonder what Taylor will say on WWHL. I don't think I can stay up for it

Agreed, DeDe made it so much worse that it should have been. The poll ? on WWHL was "do you think she went too far" and the majority was NO (something like 53% to 47% so it was close). I thought it was overwhelmingly YES. Also, Taylor was wasted too.She seemed much more normal on WWHL. Andy asked her some tough questions, she seems to be in a much better place and is getting along with everyone.
I had no idea Mauricio was Mexican. I'm not sure what I thought he was! But he's still hot (just don't say that around Kyle lol). Still not liking Kyle too much, she is always making fun of people and I hate her dancing and splits. I really don't see much difference in the MIL's face lift- she pretty much looks the same to me before 9 hours of surgery.
And what was the chick from Celebrity Rehab doing there? Did she get an intro? I didn't see it but I was only half watching. She seemed to be the only one left at the end, so obviously she and Brandi are friends. Someone called in to WWHL and asked that and Taylor had no idea who she was.
The blonde lady Linda- who's friend was she? Andy was saying she used to be married to Bruce Jenner. Is that the mom of Brody??
I liked Lisa in this episode. The wedding is going to be so pretty, I hope they show it this season (not sure if it's happened already or not).
I thought it was a little rude of Brandi to throw Taylor out of the party when she was obviously having a mental breakdown.
I think the thing is - hindsight is 20/20. It's so easy to play Monday morning quarterback knowing what we know now.
While I think Camille's friend was a tad out of line, so was Taylor. She was out of control but know one really knew exactly what was going on with her. I don't think she was separated yet and her behavior comes off as more bizarre than anything. They are all concerned and have voiced that but she doesn't make it easy to figure her out - I think (looking back) she is the classic victim of domestic violence. Trying to hold it together and not doing a very good job.
I was shocked to see that girl from Celebrity Rehab there - I was trying to see if she was drinking. The wine was flowing pretty heavily at that party!!
The more I watch this show the more I disbelieve Taylor's abuse story. I think her issues are related to their finances and Russell's mental issues. He had serious financial problems and probably was in trouble with some of his business partners.
When Lisa invited Taylor to Pandora's party at Mohamed's house, she didn't invite Russell because of his issues with Mohamed (and knowing what kind of money Mohamed has based on what he has shown us, I can only imagine how much was involved here). At Lisa's tea party, Taylor said she wanted to be (like) Lisa and to me that means she wanted to be in her financial position.
IMO, Taylor knew that Russell was probably going to lose all or maybe the majority of their money and she wouldn't be able to hang out with the heavy weights of Beverly Hills. But this type of story is old news; all other housewives franchises have played this sad financial troubles story line and so Taylor went for something new to stay relevant (kind of like Tamra and Simon on OC). Plus, I really don't think Russell wanted to have the audience know about his issues which ultimately lead to his suicide. I think that is why Taylor was so upset; she saw this coming, she knew his mental state and, understandably, was distraught.
I am also getting some vibes that she is abusing some sort of medication/drugs based on her behavior last night and at the ski lodge earlier in the season. To me it looks more than just heavy alcohol consumption. But I could very well be wrong.
Additionally, as the other cast member have said repeatedly on the show, there were no physical signs of physical abuse. She was even "treated" by a doctor, Paul, who would have noticed any broken jaws, or other signs. The only "evidence" are the photos released this past summer showing Taylor with a black eye which also coincided with her eye surgery. Again, this is just my opinion but it doesn't mean that the injury was the result of physical abuse.

Mdd, I think Russell admitted to some level of abuse. At least, I read that he said he pushed her.
In hindsight it seems that DeDe was way out of line. But it's hard to know what pieces of the story she heard from Camille. Maybe having half the story is what caused her to act like that.
I can't say I blame Brandi for asking Taylor to leave. She didn't have the full story of what Taylor was gong through. The party was over at that point anyway.
I used to think Taylor was under an unbelievable amount of emotional stress and excused her behavior because of it. Now I think she's just BSC- she completely freaks out and is not rational in any sort of confrontation. Honestly, she seems to have paranoid delusions- she's telling people she's afraid of Camille fighting with her when it is obvious that it is Camille's only intention to work everything out, she worries about Lisa's wrath just because Taylor ran into Cedric on the street, she says that she's worried about her and her daughter's safety but continues to live with and try to make a marriage work with the person she accuses of being the aggressor. Just imagine how out of control she would get in a heated argument with her husband if she'll flip out so completely at an intimate gathering with girlfriends. That does not excuse any abuse that did happen but her behavior is really making me wonder how much of her accusations are actually true and how much is created and/or exaggerated in her mind.

ITA that it was tacky of Kyle to mock Brandi at Brandi's own party. Kyle was just being an AW again.

That white jumpsuit was terrible- I am anti white, but if you are going to wear it a bra is not an option. I think Kyle should have made a joke about it then let it go, the fact that she kept going on and on about it was a bit immature, and really must she do the split again, once was enough! I like Kyle, but sometimes I think she just looses it.
DeDe should have stayed out of it- I appreciate her trying to get them to talk, but she should have stepped away when Camille stepped outside. I like Camile- she is trying- but I don't think she should get all this backlash from calling a spade a spade. The truth hurts- and you can't say your husband beats you one minute and want to cry and support from your friends- then talk about how you are going on vacation with him. Enough is enough- Sh*t or get off the pot. Camille called her out- I give her props for doing that. Totally off subject but I thought Camille looked amazing in that interview shot with the black dress and the eye makeup- her hair was a little curled- she looked HOT!
Thank goodness for a very small snippet of Kim- the show is so much better without her- but really sitting in the laundry room eating cheetos off a plate- WEIRDO!! Even in a 10 second shot she manages to be strange.
Taylor is a hot mess- she needs to stop playing the victim- I'm over her. I feel bad for her daughter- that's about it. I can't stand the falling apart one minute then perfectly fine the next. And her book- that just blows my mind who writes a book within 3 months of her husbands suicide? a fame whore that's who!
Ethnically, I believe both his parents have a heavy Russian background. But Nationality wise they both were born and raised in Mexico, as was Mauricio.
F/U to Jen from Celeb Rehab... I read a recap on E! and it was said it was Jen's house that the party was at... now how on earth does she afford what surely must be a multi million dollar house on the beach in Malibu?? I don't think Dr. Drew is paying that well, for realz. Maybe it's just a rental.

Linda is Brody's mom. She used to date Elvis, lol. She was married to the music producer David Foster and their Malibu spread would put pretty much any property to shame. Did you ever watch the very short-lived show "Princes of Malibu" about Brandon and Brody? produced by Spencer Pratt!!! lol, anyways-their house was shown on that a lot and it's truly impressive. I'm sure she's a fixture on the social scene, and was long before RHoBH came along.
I don't get how Kim makes her money or lives. She did some movies a long time ago and does not seem to work at all. But she lives pretty well nice car and clothes.

I don't think anyone can judge Taylor's mental state and I think it's wrong to assume she wasn't abused. That is why people who are abused are ashamed and afraid to come forward- they are afraid no one will believe them.
I also think the entire argument was 10x worse because everyone was wasted.

I find it sad and ironic that, in the first season, Taylor had a fundraiser for the charity that she is involved in that helps women and children of domestic abuse. I remember Russell even being there and the speech she gave about being a victim of abuse as a child. Perhaps she is in a cycle of abuse in that she was abused as a child and was then attracted to those who had the same qualities as the person who abused her and her family before?
