I didn't know that you've had bunion surgery too! That's funny that you had it done at 17, bc I didn't know that my feet were effed up till I was living in the dorms.
People looked at my feet and were like "uhhh... that's not normal"

Interesting. They cut my bones apart and screwed them back together. I still have 1 pin in each big toe.
Would you do it again?
I have two screws in the arch area (you can feel one!), but none in the toe (although scars on either side where he sawed off some bone and tried to fix the tendons). The pain/recovery was horrible and I wouldn't recommend it to someone who just casually thought of it for cosmetic reasons, but I guess I'm glad I did it because at the rate I was going it might be pretty bad by now.
what about you?

I have 2 screws in each foot removed because they were sticking out too much.
My recovery was so easy. I had the surgery on a Friday morning and was laid out Friday-Sunday, but by Monday I was hobbling around again. I had bad scarring though and had to go to my derm for injections.
I'd do it in again a heart beat. I'm kinda considering going back to my doc to check about the little toe on my left foot.
