Stockings Qs

Do you have names on your stockings?

If you had furry stockings, how would you add names?

Don't have stocking, but I would suggest using felt to add names.  You could cut out and glue on the individual letters or cut a large rectangle of felt and use glitter puffy paint to write the names :)

  • We have fluffy stockings with no names. My stocking is white and H's is blue. We have 3 mini fluffy stockings in red, blue and green for the furbabies.

  • Ours are monogrammed from Pottery Barn. The boys' have been mismatched stockings from Target in the past, but I finally ordered them matching monogrammed stockings that coordinate with ours this year!

I just ordered these for my sister and her dog:

  • So pretty, LB!!

We just bought new stockings, and they are classing up the joint just a little bit. :) Only thing is that they are furry, so I don't think I can glue anything without it looking wonky. I think I might try to fake-embroider and just sew some cord down or something...?? I am way out of my comfort zone here. lol

Hm I'm sure there's a company locally that can embroider names onto them. Going to Google now.
  • Lots of the companies that came up on google seem to cater towards small businesses, but this company looks like they would be able to do it. I can't imagine they would charge more than $10 a stocking.

  • Nice! Thanks, LB! idk why I hadn't thought of paying someone who knows what they are doing. lol.

  • We don't have names on our stockings but I put the dogs names on their stocking with some fabric paint I got at Jo-ann's.  It was in a bottle that had a tip that allowed you to write on things.  I hope that makes sense!
