Recovering from surgery.

Hi Ladies! Today I'm able to sit at the computer for a few minutes so I thought I would update you. As most of you know I had gallbladder surgery last Monday. It went well, they were able to remove the gallbladder laparoscopically. So I only had 4 small incisions, instead of a 5 to 7 inch incision if they would have had to cut me open. I've just been laying around recovering. I'm so tired of laying around lol. I'm feeling a lot better, mainly just still really sore right now. It's easier for me to get up & down now though.

The actual day of surgery, I was soooo nervous! It was my first surgery ever! I knew that if they could do it laparoscopically, I would most likely be going home that same day. Figured maybe a hour after recovery, because that's how my friends was. I was supposed to be at the hospital at 6:30am, got there at 6:15am. We did not leave until 6:00pm! It was a ridiculously long day. The surgeon was behind on the surgery ahead of me, then the surgery that was going on in my OR was behind. So my surgery did not get started until around noon & then I was in recovery for about 2 hours. Then they had to get my pain under control, get me to walk & use the bathroom before I left.

Sorry this turned out longer than I expected lol. I just want to thank you all for your thoughts, prayers & kind words. Love you all!
