No joke, last year at our office Christmas party, someone brought a hamster (in a little cage, with a bag of food and a bag of bedding) for the White Elephant. No one would own up to bringing it, but he went home with one of our production supervisors. The next morning, his 7 year old daughter woke up to an awesome surprise. She named him "Christmas".
Those gift ideas are so funny! I can't believe someone gave a hamster...poor little guy! But glad he found a home
