S/O - What are you getting your SO for Christmas?
The post to Haines below got me thinking. If you and your SO are exchanging gifts what will you be getting him/her?
Cologne - I know generic but I absolutely love my man to smell delicious! (He loves cologne too)
Collar stays - He dresses for work, so I got him personalized ones that I had inscribed with things we only know
Cuff links - Bought some that are made from seats from his baseball teams stadium. (Hes a sports nut)
Need something else... any ideas? (This man has EVERYTHING!)
Re: S/O - What are you getting your SO for Christmas?
What are these?
I did a combined bday/xmas gift for BF and bought him a relatively nice camera. His was stolen a while back and he still laments about it, haha!
3/12 5 mi -- 49:22 Pace: 9:52
5/1 Half Marathon -- 2:11:22 Pace: 10:01
5/22 10k -- 56:29 Pace: 9:00
5/24 3.6 -- 29:03 Pace: 8:18
7/10 15k -- 1:44:46 injured Pace: 11:14
10/29 5k -- 28:24 Pace: 9:04
I'm kind of at a loss. If he wants something he just buys it for himself, so I'm going to be left with buying him stuff he needs vs. stuff he wants. I had an intervention with him this morning as we're getting ready for work - his wardrobe can no longer be ignored. I think I finally got through to him. I'm not asking for GQ here, but the high-waisted pleated pants have got to go.
To round out the clothing, I might buy him a guitar. His was stolen a while ago.
a robe, box of fancy chocolates, a sound machine that I'm hoping will help him sleep during the day (he works nights), and this thing for your desk that is a figure sitting on a toilet, it holds post its/pens/tape/etc and a Redskins t shirt. (that killed me to buy, I'm a Cowboys fan)
I'm not sure what else to get him, if anything.
They go in the collars of dress shirts. The shirts usually come with plastic ones so I ordered personalized stainless steel (thin).
SO loves a smell of Armani cologne that the stores don't sell anymore. I found it online and ordered it for him.
I also got him a new DVD of his favorite comedian
I am still thinking about other ideas.
Do you have any other ideas for day sleepers?
Haha! Totally agree with you!
GREAT idea! I was trying to think of a 2nd thing to get the BF (since I pretty much know he's getting me a Keurig).
He's a HUGE fan of the soccer team from his hometown in the UK, so I found a book about the team's history in the 80s on Amazon. I thought the 80s was funny because he & I joke about how I was in diapers then & he was adult.
This made me laugh!
I went overboard...to say the least.
Subscription to a beer of the month club
A light from Brookstone for his grill
A BBQ/Grilling "bible" by his favorite chef
A mop/mop bucket/replacement heads (for grilling...not for cleaning!)
Assorted other grilling accessories
2 polo shirts for work
A few pair of dress pants for work
A Demotivator calender
I'm getting Z:
Cuff Links-I found a really pretty set that is white gold, with a checkered pattern of mother of pearl and black onyx
Slippers- I have no idea what kind yet
Cast Iron Skillet-Does anyone know where a good place to buy one without paying a boat load?
Watch- Haven't decided on one yet.
black out curtains
That is beyond impressive!!
My guy is also a huge sports nut as well.. But he doesn't dress up for work ..
SO!
New Oakleys & a NHL Windbreaker jacket & Corona beer glasses - but I'm not bringing the glasses with me there - i will bring a photo lol. Too heavy for luggage.
