Date Day

So DH and I have some vacation days stored up.

Day Care is open most of our holidays (only closed Dec 26 and Jan 2). So I think we may drop her off at day care (or give her to grandparents) for a day and DH and I can go have a date day.

but no idea what to do... Our typical dates are movie then dinner. Maybe bowling? Art Museum? Go to Boston (during Christmas, could be so crowded)

Re: Date Day

  • Boston does sound fun, especially without the kid. What did you two like to do before having a toddler to corral? Maybe hit up a spot you both love, or find somewhere new you've both wanted to check out.
  • Sounds like a great idea. If it were me and my DH, I think we would def do lunch and bowling. It's something neither of us have done in a while, but sounds like a lot of fun. The art museum seems very relaxing and low key though. You could also do some shopping?!

  • One of my favorite things to do is sleep in, fix breakfast together at home, go to a movie in the middle of the day, grab lunch, and then peter around in little shops with a latte. This is pretty much a combination of what everyone else has said so I'm not that helpful :)

    Happiest place on Earth!

  • If you're thinking about heading to the art museum the MFA is going to have an exhibit of art from the Punjab and Rajasthan areas of India starting Dec. 10th. I'm hoping to go with DH - of course, this is probably more of a draw for me than you ;-) I would also look up and see if there are any fun holidy activities anywhere around that week.
