Yay Wednesday?
It's amazing the difference a day (and 2 more shots of steroids to the lungs) can do. Monday night all I could do was lay on the couch, but last night we were super productive. Derek and I got a coat of primer and nearly 2 coats of paint up on the walls in the kitchen. We make a good painting team, he rolls while I cut in. Unfortunately with the way the kitchen is there's a LOT more cutting in than rolling, so I still have some work to do, but, um, yay paint!
Tonight I hope to get the Christmas lights up. We'll see if that happens.
How is everyone today?

We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?

Re: Happy Hump Day!
I'm still fighting this plague that seems to be going around. I choked for a solid hour last night. The plus side? It's got to be a good ab workout, right? My biggest fear is I'll go into a choking fit at my interview tomorrow. I'm going to have to throw a cough drop in my cheek and hope for the best.
Another total lounge night to fight this thing and hopefully getting Christmas lights outside. I also have a new blow-up Snoopy for the yard, so I'd love to get him up and running before the snow hits. I hear we're expecting some tonight, but nothing major. I'm honestly not ready. I'd rather have rain and warm weather than cold and snow any day.
Raynes - yay for paint and feeling better.
Snoopy - I hope you feel better soon, and good luck at your interview tomorrow.
Today I am passing up listening to our motivational guest speaker today. Right now everyone is downstairs listenting to Coach Bill Curry, and I am at my desk semi-listening to the live feed, but trying to take advantage of the quiet time up here.
Tonight I need to hit the grocery store on the way home for a few things. DH has work tonight, so I am hoping after the boys go to bed to start putting up decorations. I still haven't decided on the whole tree - half decorated, or half a tree up. Trying to decide on which one the kids will cause less damage to stinks.
Have a great day ladies.
I have a feeling that today is just going to be one of those days. I was supposed to get up at 645 to get to the gym and I think my alarm just didn't go off. I woke up at 720 when I would just be leaving for the gym. I got my act together really quickly and ended up being able to get 3.25miles in on the treadmill but I was hoping to get a longer run in today. Better than nothing.
Got a text from DH that he found cat puke and pee in the bathroom this morning. We're having problems with boy cat but I thought we at least had his pee problem contained and it's so frustrating. I'm really hoping it was one of those "i'm puking and I can't breathe so I freaked out and some pee came out' things. We can't deal with another spot that he is going to be marking. So frustrated. He will be good for a week and then it's something new.
I'm hoping that work at least goes better.
Good morning. It's a gloomy, rainy day in D.C.--my poor pant legs are soaked. It was definitely a bus day today.
Last night's book club was fun--there were only three of us (some people bailed), but we had a good discussion and managed to talk about my friend's upcoming wedding. Her family's already driving her crazy. Brought back planning memories!
Tonight I'm on my own for a while--the gym is in my plans, and then a quick dinner.
Have a great one, all.
Ugh, pee update.
Puke was on carpet in living room, pee was on the shower in the bathroom. I don't know what I'm going to do, he's already on meds for this.
Is this something new since you've been pregnant? Sometime animals are really off while pregnant mommas are around. Just a thought. If not, I'd say head back to the vet.
It is rainy and cold here today so I am having an extra hard time getting woke up and motivated to atctually work.
My BFF is driving my CRAZY this week she is complaining about EVERYTHING and I really don't know how much more of it I can handle. I wish she could be more optimistic. On a good note my car should be ready for me to pick up this afternoon and we MIGHT get flurries mixed in with our rain today.
Today I went to work, it turns out I filled out the form to request a sub for Monday wrong. I wont get the personal day back so I'm at home snuggling with the boy and the husband.
It's great to be able to check in during the day though!
Sigh, today did not start off well for me. I finally booked our cruise yesterday, but now I see that I booked the wrong itinerary - right line, right ship, right port, but the website has both routes mixed together and only lists the one on the first page. I have emailed and accused them of doing a bait and switch and asking to be moved to the right route. I'm sure I'll pay a penalty, but if I have to, I just have to.
That, plus the rain, a pointless 2 hour staff meeting and my general grouchiness is going to make this a long day.

Good morning, I woke up all stuffed up and sneezing. I hope this is just my allergies and not a cold. Last night we got hit with some pretty cold weather so that might explain why I feel sick this morning.
On a lighter note, I just found out I got accepted to grad school so that totally made my day.
And now back to work...
Good morning! Things are off to a better start today and I'm determined to keep it that way. Monday and Tuesday were hell for me at work.
Last night I watched the season premier of Teen Mom 2 and vegged on the couch. Tonight I have a ton of errands to run for work like picking up soda's and snacks for the break room at Sam's Club and some Christmas gift basket material at Michael's. Hopefully it won't take me to long and I'll get home at a decent time.
I'm feeling really crappy today. Between IBS flaring up and vomiting my brains out (and my dr appointment yesterday), I haven't been to school yet this week. I'm feeling super guilty and really, really crappy at the same time. I don't know how women work through m/s. Seriously.
In other news, while I was feeling okay last night, we went out and bought a Christmas tree! It's our first one for our apartment and is pretty darned cute, if I do say so myself.

Congrats, Dora!
Dora - Congrats!
I'm a bit stressed out today, DH has his meeting with our lawyer to see how we should proceed from here on out with the threats and demands from his child's mom.
Last night was low key and I hope tonight will be too. I packed my gym bag last night and brought it to work with me, so I really have no reason not to go tonight since I have to pass it on my way home.
Congrats, Dora!
Thanks, snoopy. This has been an on and off battle for the past 6 years that was pretty much 'off' for 2 years and started back 'on' in October when Mark was out of town for 2 days and I forgot to give him his pill for 2 days. I've been in close contact with the vet over the past few months and my plan right now is to recrate him to get a urine sample and then keep him crated for a few more days to reinforce the habit of going in the box. I hate the idea of crating, though, because it is mainly an anxiety issue with him. Poor kitty.
Unfortunately, at some point you find a snack that makes it just a bit better and keep a trash can close by. I wanted to puke at work...a lot. Keep in mind it's only for a few months and then you'll feel better. At least, that's how it is for most people. Hopefully you feel better soon.
