Hi there! I'm a lurker but wanted to give you some great ideas if your up for it! I am from the Sacramento area (work here but live nearby). There are some amazing wineries in this area as well as some amazing restaurants. The "night life" down here is fun if she's into that kind of thing.
We have an amazing wine bar right next door to this great mexican restaurant if you'd like their information. Also if you point me in the direction of her favorite wine, I can give you some rec's for local stuff.

I will put it to you this way. Assuming that you like good beer or real Jack. White Zin is the equivalent of drinking warm Bud out of can or drinking cheap whiskey out of a plastic bottle.
I once heard a dating story that went like this:

No worries, I will be giving her grief about it...but I am no better because I was in the dark on that too. LOL. Yes I will remind her she Brazilian, and then like a smartass she will remind me that she is half white and that it must be the white part of her that is making her weak.
